We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both parties, considering the commitments we make to our service providers on your behalf.

Important: All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to cancellations@jambudviptours.com. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

Special Considerations

Flight Tickets

Airline cancellation policies vary and are separate from our policy. Most discounted airfares are 100% non-refundable once ticketed.

Hotel Bookings

Many hotels have their own cancellation policies, especially during peak seasons. Some may charge 100% for last-minute cancellations.

Visa Fees

Visa application fees, documentation charges, and courier costs are 100% non-refundable once the process has begun.

Force Majeure Clause

In case of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.):

We will work with service providers to obtain maximum possible refunds
Credit notes may be issued instead of cash refunds
Administrative fees may apply for processing
Travel insurance claims should be filed by the traveler

Travel Insurance Recommended: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.

Legal terms governing our services

General Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Jambudvip Tours & Travels (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") and the client (hereinafter referred to as "the Traveler"). By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

What's Included:

Accommodation as specified in the itinerary
Meals as mentioned (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner)
Transportation as per itinerary
Sightseeing and activities mentioned in inclusions
Services of guides/drivers as specified
All currently applicable taxes

What's Not Included:

Any airfare, unless specifically mentioned
Any meals other than those specified
Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips, etc.
Any additional tours/excursions not mentioned in itinerary
Travel insurance
Visa fees and documentation charges
Anything not specifically mentioned under "inclusions"

2. Customer Responsibilities

The Traveler agrees to:

Provide accurate and complete information during booking
Carry valid identity proof and travel documents
Adhere to the tour schedule and timings
Follow local laws, customs, and regulations
Respect cultural sensitivities at destinations
Inform the Company of any special needs/medical conditions
Purchase adequate travel insurance
Make payments as per the agreed schedule

3. Liability Limitations

The Company acts as an intermediary between the Traveler and various service providers (hotels, airlines, transport companies, etc.). The Company shall not be responsible for:

Any loss, injury, or damage to person or property
Additional expenses due to delays, accidents, or natural disasters
Changes in itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control
Loss of baggage or personal belongings
Acts or omissions of any third-party service providers
Any inconvenience caused due to political disturbances, natural calamities, or technical problems

The Company's liability in any case shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour.

4. Dispute Resolution

In case of any dispute:

The Traveler must first contact the Company in writing
Both parties agree to attempt amicable resolution
If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [City], India
Indian law shall govern these terms and conditions

We believe in fair resolution and will make every effort to address concerns promptly and fairly.

5. Changes & Amendments

The Company reserves the right to:

Make minor changes to the itinerary when necessary
Substitute accommodation with similar category hotels
Change transportation modes if required
Alter the order of sightseeing if necessary

Major changes will be communicated to the Traveler and will require mutual agreement.

Amendment Fees:

Date changes (if possible): ₹2,000 per person + any supplier charges
Name changes: ₹1,000 per person + any airline/hotel charges
Itinerary changes after confirmation: ₹3,000 + any additional costs

Acknowledgment of Terms

By proceeding with booking and payment, the Traveler acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
